She snored softly as she rolled over onto her stomach, arm flopping over the side of the bed. She wasn't nearly as tired from her 'activities' given to her by Greta, but it was her nighttime proclivities that had her a little worse for wear afterwards. Sneaking around the house and stealing things from people in the wee hours was tiring work.

But after seeing him earlier in the day and the scowl he'd worn as he'd left to do another run for one of the witches, she'd gotten an idea. Parker did love to play jokes and tease people she knew, and Toreth was the most familiar face she knew here -- aside from her own.

She still had his shirt, one of the only things she'd refused to give back when she'd been asked to, and she'd decided to kill two birds with one stone. Get a nice little nap to freshen her up for more sneaking around that night, and rub it in his face that she still had his stolen shirt. While she slept on his bed. In his locked room.

Was he enjoying the view of her half-bare ass? He should be.

He should've been happier with the view, honestly, and at the fact that there was a girl in his bed. But he knew, it being Parker, that he would probably get his eyes gouged out before any funny business happened, and that the shirt was just a major 'fuck you'. He glanced at the door again, distinctly remembering unlocking it as he entered. Aha. Probably a major 'fuck you' to all his questions on her occupation, too. It was all very funny, actually, and there was the smallest of grins on his face as he looked down at her. Sneaky girl.

He nudged her again, undeterred from unbuttoning his shirt, shrugging out of it and unceremoniously letting it drop to the floor. If that was how she wanted to play, she was going to have to deal with the consequences. "Move over, bed hog."

Her answer was a huff. No, she wasn't moving. She was comfortable. There was plenty of bed on the other side of her.

Okay, there was like, a third of the bed on the other side of her. Whatever. He could squish in.

Not in his giraffe-like-proportioned glory he couldn't. He kicked off his pants and sat down on the small space remaining on the bed, watching her for a few seconds and giving her ample time to change her mind and roll over. "Don't say I didn't give you a chance." It was the last warning he was going to give.

[vented]

Her answer was to flex her toes and sigh happily as she burrowed into his pillow. Sleepy Parker was a happy Parker. The only thing missing from this would be to wake up to a nice bowl of cereal.

Nope. No cereal. She was just going to get a heavy Toreth collapsing into bed beside her, making a point of carelessly letting an arm drape across her. And he was quite happy to pretty much spoon her, too tired to worry about how close to cuddling the act was and more concerned about not falling off the bed. His bed.

[vented]

There was a moment of tension as she woke enough to realize what he was doing, but considering she'd broken into his room and was wearing the spoils of war, she supposed it could have been a lot worse. And there were... circumstances with this place, so it seemed. So if maybe she was more tolerant of someone being touchy with her than she might normally be, what of it? Seems she was going to have to learn how to deal with that eventually, unless she wanted to keep getting punished. So she settled back against him, looking entirely too pleased with herself.

[triarchic]

His tactic was not working the way he had planned. He had expected her to have vaulted herself out of the bed at this stage, although his arm across her had been intended to prevent exactly that scenario. Still, it would've been a kicker to see her squirm.

"Bed's too fucking small for this." He was mumbling into her hair, hand swatting in the general direction of her face.

[vented]

"Potty mouth," she mumbled, wriggling back even more -- because she was kind of a jerk right now and the idea of squishing him against the wall was funny.

[triarchic]

Oh. She was lucky he was exhausted, or that would've provoked some awkward responses. It still did, but it wasn't so obvious. His body didn't budge at her wriggling, and he gave her a warning pinch on the back of her thigh in return. "No one fucking cares, Fleece."

[vented]

"I care, Valentine." Jeez. Honestly. Why so vulgar? It wasn't like she was practically naked on hi-- oh. Wait. Hah.

Her response to the pinch was a quick kick back at his shin.

[triarchic]

His knee involuntarily jerked up into her butt at the kick, and he hissed. Another swat at her face. "My bed, my rules."

[vented]

She turned her head and bit at the swatting hand, kicking back at him again. "Not your house, though. Your rules mean squat, Grumpy bear."

[triarchic]

Did she just kick him and bite him? He snatched his hand back and this time took the kick a little better, not reacting quite as violently. One draped arm over her would be fine for him. "If you want to play by the witches' rules, I should be reporting you for breaking and entering."

[vented]

"Couldn't prove it. I didn't break anything." She turned her head to look at him and shoot him a cheeky grin as she did. "Door was locked when you entered, wasn't it?"

[triarchic]

He wanted to pinch her cheeks to wipe that look off her face, but he decided against it. Non-sexual biting was not his thing. "So we're no longer pretending you're not a career thief of some sort, are we?"

[vented]

"Who said anything about being a thief? Is anything stolen? Do I look like I have anywhere to put anything?" Yep, that look wasn't going anywhere.

[triarchic]

His reply was to tug at the shirt pointedly, raising an eyebrow.

"I won that fair and square. And they know that." They were well aware of her claim on his shirt.

[triarchic]

"Well, the witches are just as fucking corrupt as you, then." Though, he already knew that. He reflected now that maybe he shouldn't have woken her up. She was so peppy. "Aren't you tired?"

[vented]

"Not as tired as you are. You should work on your stamina. If they want you to do other things, you're liable to pass out before you finish the first round. Not very manly, Valentine."

[triarchic]

"Are you talking about sex?" He frowned a little, not having expected that from her. "Because my stamina's fucking fine there, thanks. I could even show you if you wanted." He braced himself for a retaliation there.

[vented]

"No you couldn't. If I'm going to do that, I prefer not to waste the effort on someone about to fall asleep. That's just rude."

[triarchic]

He thought about it for a moment, weighing his exhaustion up against the idea of having sex with her. "Mm, I'm sure I could wake myself up for that. If you're not boring, that is."

[vented]

She turned a little more, half on her back as she looked over at him. "Are you seriously trying to goad me into having sex with you by trying to say I'm boring? I'm not boring. I'm the least boring person on the planet. You, on the other hand..."
