"I care, Valentine." Jeez. Honestly. Why so vulgar? It wasn't like she was practically naked on hi-- oh. Wait. Hah.

Her response to the pinch was a quick kick back at his shin.

His knee involuntarily jerked up into her butt at the kick, and he hissed. Another swat at her face. "My bed, my rules."

[vented]

She turned her head and bit at the swatting hand, kicking back at him again. "Not your house, though. Your rules mean squat, Grumpy bear."

[triarchic]

Did she just kick him and bite him? He snatched his hand back and this time took the kick a little better, not reacting quite as violently. One draped arm over her would be fine for him. "If you want to play by the witches' rules, I should be reporting you for breaking and entering."

[vented]

"Couldn't prove it. I didn't break anything." She turned her head to look at him and shoot him a cheeky grin as she did. "Door was locked when you entered, wasn't it?"

[triarchic]

He wanted to pinch her cheeks to wipe that look off her face, but he decided against it. Non-sexual biting was not his thing. "So we're no longer pretending you're not a career thief of some sort, are we?"

[vented]

"Who said anything about being a thief? Is anything stolen? Do I look like I have anywhere to put anything?" Yep, that look wasn't going anywhere.

[triarchic]

His reply was to tug at the shirt pointedly, raising an eyebrow.

"I won that fair and square. And they know that." They were well aware of her claim on his shirt.

[triarchic]

"Well, the witches are just as fucking corrupt as you, then." Though, he already knew that. He reflected now that maybe he shouldn't have woken her up. She was so peppy. "Aren't you tired?"

[vented]

"Not as tired as you are. You should work on your stamina. If they want you to do other things, you're liable to pass out before you finish the first round. Not very manly, Valentine."

[triarchic]

"Are you talking about sex?" He frowned a little, not having expected that from her. "Because my stamina's fucking fine there, thanks. I could even show you if you wanted." He braced himself for a retaliation there.

[vented]

"No you couldn't. If I'm going to do that, I prefer not to waste the effort on someone about to fall asleep. That's just rude."

[triarchic]

He thought about it for a moment, weighing his exhaustion up against the idea of having sex with her. "Mm, I'm sure I could wake myself up for that. If you're not boring, that is."

[vented]

She turned a little more, half on her back as she looked over at him. "Are you seriously trying to goad me into having sex with you by trying to say I'm boring? I'm not boring. I'm the least boring person on the planet. You, on the other hand..."

[triarchic]

"I'm an outstanding individual and attractive to boot." He grinned at her. "You on the other hand, didn't even look twice at one-sock-wonder the other day. I'm starting to peg you as asexual."

[vented]

That made her frown at him. "I'm not asexual. I've had sex. I just have better things to do than think about it all the time like the rest of you."

[triarchic]

"Must've been some awful sex, then." It was said very matter-of-factly.

[vented]

She shrugged. "It was sex. I've had funner roller coaster rides." Parker was a thrill seeker, Toreth. A little bump and grind just wouldn't do it for her.

[triarchic]

He shrugged back at her, yawning before he spoke. "Definitely boring, awful sex. Count me as tapped out for the night."

[vented]

"I guess that's what happens when you get old," she said casually as she turned back to her side, tucking her hand in under her cheek and closing her eyes, grinning to herself.

[triarchic]

It was bait and he knew it, but it still made him twitch a little. He had been hoping she was going to rise to his bait. He sounded a little more awake again. "Please. It's what happens when you've got the most vanilla person you could think of in your bed."

[vented]

"I like vanilla. If you put it in your coffee, it makes it taste like candy." She grinned to herself as she wiggled again.

[triarchic]

This time at the wiggle his draped arm shifted, moving to curl around her waist to hold her still against him. "Well, that's the problem, isn't it? I'm not really a fan of vanilla or candy."

"How can you not like candy?" She actually sounded offended at that. "What about chocolate?"
