Toreth enjoyed planning things. It came with the job territory, really. You had to plan how to interrogate people, keeping everything well-paced and not rushing through any of the parts. Each part had its purpose, whether to instill fear or build a semblance of rapport. Planning was fun.

It was much the same when it came to setting up any encounter, whether sexual in nature or not. He planned. In this case, he kept an eye out on how Parker's schedule worked. When she would be out, when she was generally called for to run an errand, what time she usually came back to her room barring midnight escapades. He also worked on his breaking and entering skills, which wasn't exactly something he was top notch at. That wasn't quite in his job description, after all, although it did come in handy from time to time. Luckily the doors here had simple locks; it was just a matter of waiting for nobody to be watching.

He felt like somewhat of a stalker by the end of it, but he had done worse before. Besides, it wasn't too much effort to expend just to see the look on her face when he was lying in her bed with his fucking shirt on, thank you very much, and briefs. Not too much effort at all. He busied himself with poking around her room inconspicuously until she came back, cataloguing probably stolen items, and when he guessed it was about the right time, he casually sat on the bed, leaning back on his palms.

The pay-off would be worth it. Hopefully. At least the returned 'fuck you' sentiment would've been worth all the effort. He had few hobbies these days, apparently.

For a house full of witches, there wasn't much going on that kept her entertained. Sure, she snuck out at odd hours and sometimes pushed her luck by sneaking into the other wings as well as making brief forays into the rooms of the sisters themselves. Her one time attempt at stealing from one of them had wound up with her getting a rather severe punishment, so she'd put them on her no-no list until she could figure out a way to bypass whatever magical security systems they had. That plan filled up a lot of her free time. She'd think about it when she was running errands or doing chores or even breaking into other rooms to acquire new things.

It was occupying her mind when she came back from her most recent errand, which is why she didn't notice the addition to her room until she'd closed her door and was halfway to her bed. The bed that had a visitor on it. Her instant reaction was a frown and she looked at him, sitting there in-- "Hey! That's my shirt!"

He certainly seemed pleased at that response, leaning back further as he regarded her. "Is it, though? Apparently stealing something makes it yours, so..."

He winked. Totally worth it. Really.

This... was something she hadn't expected. He hadn't seemed the type, frankly. A little too uptight to do something so... juvenile. Arms folded, she stomped over to the bed and stood in front of him. "I didn't steal it. I won it. Fair and square."

He could be juvenile when he wanted to be. Mostly in possessive, jealous and angry ways, but sometimes, just sometimes, if someone gave him unexpected platonic attention, he was willing to give them attention back. It was nice to be liked. Bonus points when they weren't clingy about it or shoving it down his throat.

He smiled up at her. "Sure. Alright. But now it's mine again."

"No, now you stole it." A crafty smile fit on her face and she stood with one hip cocked out, hands on her hips. "I could tell them you stole it. That'd get you some punishment. Had any of that here?"

He didn't answer, still smiling as he shifted his weight a little to gesture around her room, indicating all the stolen knicknacks hidden away. "Do you really want to go down that road, Fleece? Get you watched every night?"

Dammit. Not like she'd actually turn him in. She didn't rat a fellow thief.

Even this poor excuse for one. "Why aren't you wearing pants?"

He looked down briefly at himself, then over at the floor at where he had left his pants before looking back at her.

"You didn't wear pants."

"I didn't wear underwear either. And I came into your room like that." She gave him a smug look, clearly enjoying having one upped him.

He paused, trying to think back to that night. Had he been that tired that he hadn't noticed? A frown crossed his features, but then he shrugged. The shirt had practically been a dress on her, anyway.

"That's easily rectified." He hooked his thumb into his waistband, smiling again.

She made a gesture at him, daring him to continue. She could be casual about her nudity and it wouldn't be the first naked man she'd seen.

He wasn't adverse at all about showing himself off, not having a problem with sliding the briefs down and lifting his hips up and off the mattress to get them all the way off. He let them fall to join the pants. They weren't covering anything obscene, him being only half-aroused at this point. "Better?"

She put a finger to her chin, looking him over as if he was something she had to figure out. Some new system or thing to learn how to slither into. "Are you a shower or a grower?"

He chuckled. Like he was going to answer that one. "Figure it out for yourself."

"It's probably a good thing you decided to wear that again. The smell was wearing off." She moved closer to the bed, beginning to toe off her boots.

That was an oddly sweet thing to say, and he wasn't sure how to feel about that for a moment. He pushed it out of his mind, choosing to tilt his head slightly and watch her undress. "I hope you weren't thinking of trying to steal another one. I have to buy those things, you know."

"Another? Nope. I like that one. I wore it in." Pants undone, she pushed them down and stepped out of them as she reached to pull her shirt up off over her head. Not really in need of a bra, that left her in just her underwear and she nudged at him with her knee. "This is my nap time. Did you come in just to gloat?"

He laughed at the role reversal of being nudged like that, and just like she hadn't, he didn't budge. "Maybe. I hadn't really decided." Planning when you didn't actually have a partner only went so far. More boundaries. Complexities. Fuzzy lines. "What do you do when you smell my shirt?"

"What do you mean 'what do I do'? I just smell it. It smells good." Duh, Toreth. When he didn't move, she didn't follow the same plan he had, reaching out and pushing at him instead to try to get him to fall back.

"And that's all you do?" He raised an eyebrow, other hand going back down on the mattress to stabilise himself against her pushes. "That's not very exciting." If he sounded slightly disappointed, it's because he was.

If he was hoping for lurid masturbatory stories, he was SOL. Parker got more of a thrill out of lying on money or jumping off buildings than she did from touching herself. "Yeah. Why?" Well... huh. She had to push harder, one knee moving onto the bed beside him as she shoved.

Well, he wasn't going to answer her question if it wasn't going to be immediately obvious to her. She would've just found it absurd.

He seemed pleased that she had to put effort into the motion, this time only buckling slightly. His position was incredibly stable, and his height and weight compared to hers definitely helped. He smiled. "You're going to have to try harder than that." Having said that, though, he was ready to intercept any cheap blows she may have had any ideas of giving. He wouldn't have been surprised if she tried.

Old Parker would have gone with a shot to the nuts, or the gut, or some sort of pained reaction to get her way. Parker that's spent time with Sophie had learned there were other ways to get what you wanted. Her other knee came down onto the bed between his. Not aiming for a shot, but just to place it there, making her straddle his thigh as she slid her hands up to his shoulders and gave another push, leaning into it this time. "What was your big plan here, Valentine?"

He seemed happy to lower himself back further at that, giving up a little space as he glanced down over her body appreciatively. He wasn't going to get ahead of himself, though. "Little nap. Snoop around your room. Get my shirt back. Not in that order."
