[ she turns away from the window again, not quite looking like a kid in a candy store, because she's feeling too much to focus on how excited she is for snow. she's still learning social cues and human niceties, but she knows enough, remembers enough, to know what a thoughtful gesture is. and she knows Stiles well enough to guess right away that this trip wasn't just so they could be out in the woods alone. they could do that in Beacon Hills. nope, there was more to this trip, and that all clicks in her mind right away.
which is why she's padding back over to the bed, crawling up to settle on her knees beside him, and reaches for his hand ]
There's a lot of snow outside. I like the snow. At least, I think I like the snow. [ some part of her does, that's for sure. some part of her knows that survival is tougher when everything is buried under it, but it's not impossible. that's kind of like life as a human, isn't it? tough, but not impossible. still- ] We should play. [ she's leaning over him, hand pressed to his chest, a smile creeping on her face. a proper bright one, one that shows how happy she is. that hand on his chest gives him a little shake ] Wake up so we can go play in the snow.
